Our Commitment
The TGS network became a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact in 2017. As a TGS member firm, we are committed to the sustainable development of our activities. Our network name and mission “Think Global Sustainability” is at the heart of our daily actions.
The ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact are in line with the TGS policy of social responsibility. As a TGS member firm, we focus on quality, building trust and establishing sustainable relationships with our employees, customers and stakeholders.
In an increasingly unstable and unpredictable global environment, questions continually arise about how we work and how we measure the impact of business on our environments. Every year TGS publishes a COP (Communication On Progress) which documents our sustainable action. You can download our most recent COP here.

Reduced inequalities
Reduce inequality within and among countries
TGS France has a very ambitious policy when it comes to the inclusion of disabled people and has spearheaded a number of actions in this matter :
With its subidiary Socia3, TGS France has heavily invested in favor of training and inclusion of people with disabilities within the workforce. In order to implement this disability policy, TGS France has notably signed a partnership agreement with Agefiph, a leading organization for all actions aiming to support increased employment for people with disabilities.
Also part of the Agefiph partnership, TGS France also set up a dedicated internal training program for handicap management. This program is being deployed at all TGS France levels.
With the 2024 Paris Olympics in mind, TGS France has created the first fully paralympic athletes team and is sponsoring five disabled athletes until the Olympic Games of 2024. These 5 athletes come from 5 different sports disciplines (badminton, cycling, table tennis, tennis, athletics with a focus on long jump), with varied Olympic experiences and track records, with the same objective: to prepare for and excel during the major sporting events that are the Olympic Games of 2024 in Paris.

Good Health and well-being
Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages
TGS France is one of the founding members of the 1nspire association, which aims to put the spotlight on the health and well-being of entrepreneurs, leaders and their coworkers as a major lever for long term productivity.
The health and well-being of the people behind corporations is a tremendous potential for corporate growth, yet it is still too often underestimated and undervalued.
TGS France strives to set healthy work / personal life boundaries for all coworkers. Burnout culture (overtime, constant stress, etc.) is not TGS’s corporate culture.
Ensuring all TGS France staff, managers & executive members well-being is a constantly evolving challenge.

Climate action
Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts
TGS France is actively aiming to reduce its carbon footprint. All actions count : TGS France has notably enforced a carpooling policy, is working on maximizing recycling of all on all its sites and encourages and supports many other actions at a local level.
TGS France also follows all official guidelines and recommendations : recently, the French government published its energy sobriety plan with a number of proactive measures to be enforced by individuals and entities alike. TGS France immediately studied the plan and passed it on to all its staff with concrete measures to be implemented at all TGS sites.
